Titles: Senior Game Designer → Head of Game Design
Project Phase: Pre-production to Closed Alpha (under NDA)
Focus Areas: Combat, 3C Systems, Enemy AI, Core Systems Design, Encounter Design, Team Direction

🛠 Key Responsibilities & Contributions

  • Designed and implemented the action combat system, focusing on responsiveness, character state flow, and moment-to-moment gameplay feel

  • Owned the development of 3C systems (Character, Camera, Controls) for a fluid third-person experience

  • Created enemy AI behaviors using behavior trees, supporting dynamic and varied PvE encounters

  • Designed core gameplay systems, including:

    • Crafting, Gathering, Itemization, Skills, Guilds & Factions, Territory Control, Map & Minimap

  • Designed internal tools to streamline content creation and empower the design team

  • Prototyped new systems and gameplay features using Unity and proprietary scripting tools

  • Led iteration efforts by incorporating feedback from internal playtests and player feedback, improving system usability and combat feel
